Dr. Sarah Borge, a Montana native born in Plains and raised in Conrad, is grateful to call Missoula her long-term home.
After completing medical school at the University of Minnesota and her residency in Billings, she began practicing comprehensive Family Medicine in Missoula in 2010.
Dr. Borge finds it a genuine joy to care for all ages—from the first days of infancy through every chapter of adulthood. She strives to be a true partner in her patients’ health journeys, providing a consistent and compassionate medical home for individuals and families at every stage of life.
Dr. Shepherd grew up in Missoula, and returned home to practice family medicine after she completed residency training in Boise in 2004.
She enjoys seeing all ages of patients and helping them problem solve to find health solutions to feel well. She especially loves watching children grow, supporting families in that process, and was excited last year to be able to provide care for 5 generations of patients in the same family!
Dr. Shepherd works hard to provide a real medical home family medicine model for her patients. Until recently she was providing obstetric care as well, and while she is no longer doing this, she is thrilled to support a new partner at Generations who will be providing family medicine/obstetric care.
Sarah Horne grew up in Texas and spent five years working as a mechanical engineer before deciding to go to medical school. She moved to Missoula, Montana for medical residency and, as many do, she fell in love with the Mountain West and has been practicing family medicine & obstetric care here ever since.
Caring for individuals and families of all ages and across all backgrounds is deeply meaningful to her. She values building relationships, understanding her patients’ goals and working together to create a plan that is best for their lives and health.
She is so excited to join Generations and continue providing care to her community.
Dr. Horne is accepting new patients and offers primary care for all ages as well as prenatal & obstetric care for pregnancies!
